Last-minute hotel room sites for Maine coast or Jersey shore?

Are there any websites that list last-minute hotel avails? I've just had some time open up at the end of July and was hoping to find a room on the ocean for my family and I. Southern Maine coast or mid-Jersey shore would be ideal. I've tried Priceline/Expedia and some others, but no luck. They all seem to focus on nation chain hotels. I realize I've waited too long, but I'm rolling the dice here and hope someone can help.
